Thanksgiving, the time of being grateful. I am grateful for many things. Most of all, living close to the ocean. We went bike riding a bit later than our normal 8am but made it to the beach by 10am. We left by 11:30am because the beach was getting crowded with tourists.
It was a beautiful day...lots of shells on the beach and it was raining out in the Gulf.
Bob and I had a traditional early dinner.
“The turkey. The sweet potatoes. The stuffing. The pumpkin pie. Is there anything else we all can agree so vehemently about? I don’t think so.” ~ Nora Ephron
I've skipped over the 2020 election, I'm glad that Biden won but it's going to be a long tough winter. There's so many different things that need to be righted.
On the border, there's still kids separated from their families. Covid is out of control, there's huge lines for food banks, and one American per minute died today of Covid. On the bright side, there are many new possible vaccines but it's gonna be a while.
It didn't have to be this way...it's not just trump, it's also the people. I'm not going into that right now, I just don't see the point. Now not...with the Covid numbers climbing before Thanksgiving and people not staying home. It's a choice and hopefully many will get lucky.
It seems my Muse is back...I'm slowly getting back into the swing of creating work again.
Ok...have a great holiday weekend, I'm going to heat up leftovers for lunch.
