Quiet Christmas at the Beach

Bob and I decided for Christmas we wanted a quiet day at the beach. So we took the trikes out for a ride as the tide was coming.  Bob mostly rode and I got distracted with my camera.  For a holiday, I was surprised how many people were out walking and fishing.  Then we came home to hot soup, tamales, and avocado salad.  It was peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing.  I'm thinking about doing the same tomorrow.  Winter is typically nice in Galveston but some days, like today, Mother Nature pulls out her magic.
