Big Sky Sort of Day...new digital piece and not getting everything you want

I was out and about yesterday looking for thistle...yep, again.  I'm working on a thistle series so I'm betting this is going to be a forever and ever project.  Anyway, I turned around and poof...I heard thunder and saw the above sight.  I was lucky, my camera was in my hands.  It didn't last very long.  It looks like a pop up storm happened and broke apart as soon as it formed.  I wish I would of gotten the lightening as well but you can't have everything. 

The above is a new digital piece.  I haven't decided what I'm doing with this one.  I'd really like it the way it is but I'd also like to paint it.  It would make a rockin' mixed media piece.
