Lampwork Focals...Silver Green Reduction
Here's some interesting reactions with Silver Green furnace glass. There's lots of silver on these beady babies and I did spot reduction to bring out the metallic highlights.
Focal #1 (above) started with white furnace glass, then was encased in clear. It's lighter than the other focals.
Focal #2 (above) is mostly clear with a deep grape on the ends.
Focal #3 (above) is very, very interesting. This focal has the base of clear only but I added some silver green shards that I blew. The metallic highlights are kewl as kewl with lots of bronze. The shard turned blue under the flame or in the kiln.
